Still Winter Up Here

A few days ago our church had a free night of ice skating in corning NY. We decided to take Will since we weren't sure how he was going to like it, so we wouldn't feel bad only staying a short while since it was free. It was an outdoor rink and it was one of the coldest/windiest nights.... but we still gave it a try. Will didn't really enjoy just skating holding on to Josh's hands because he didn't want to try balancing. However, when he was given a small chair to push around and hold on to, he loved it. He also loved sitting on the chair and having Josh push him around. We didn't stay too long, but it was a good first experience.... well, other than Will throwing a fit when we had him share the chair with other children - I guess that's typical of a 3 year old!

It snowed just a small amount last week and so we took the kids out and Josh attached a rope to Maggie and had her pull Abby on the sled. It didn't last too long, but it was cute and Abby really enjoyed it!
